Director of Bridges

Introduction

In the field of Social Work - ensure that all clients and potential clients of the Bridges Foster Care program are provided services conducive to developing and nurturing physical, emotional, mental and academic progress.

Purpose

A. Ensure that all clients and potential clients of the Bridges program are provided services conducive to developing and nurturing physical, emotional, mental and academic progress.
B. Assure that humane and ethical standards of conduct are employed in the delivery of all services.
C. Make every effort possible to ensure a positive transition of adolescents out of the Bridges program.

Qualifications

A. Masters Degree & licensure in field of study.
B. Two years' experience including supervision experience.
C. Knowledge of and experience working with youth.
D. Ability to provide leadership and direction to subordinates.

Responsible To: Executive Director

Principal Accountabilities

A. Carefully assess and respond to the needs of individual clients, staff, and the organization.
B. Implement treatment programming and develop resources that appropriately respond to fluctuating demand.
C. Ensure that all clients are appropriately evaluated and screened for admission and once eligible are routinely assessed and placed in a timely manner in the most necessary services and provided the resources for their needs.
D. Ensure continuity of professional services by retaining personnel who are fully competent in achieving objectives and carrying out responsibilities of the program through effective selection, development, training, and motivation.
E. Contribute to the effective management and administration of the organization by the incisive and timely analysis of program issues and reporting of these to the Executive Director for evaluation.
F. Ensure that all internal and external statements, reports, and evaluations are prepared accurately in a timely manner.
G. Market the program and continually assess ways to grow and enhance its effectiveness.
