Mitchell, SD – The Dakota State Fraternal Order of Eagles has stepped up to the plate once again to help hurting children in need who have experienced abuse or neglect. Members of the Vermillion Eagles #2421 demonstrated their unwavering commitment to “People Helping People” by presenting a total of $16,700 in checks to the Abbott House Foundation before their most recent weekly meetings.
“This is unbelievable,” Virginia Wishard Lambert, Abbott House Development Director said while accepting the donation. “This is truly a blessing to our kids and will help so many of them reach success after a life of hardships.”
This generous contribution is made possible through the collective efforts of Eagles clubs in North and South Dakota, along with the success of a Putt-Putt event held in June. These funds will directly impact Abbott House children by supporting essential specialized therapy, such as Neurofeedback Therapy.
“I am immensely grateful to the Eagles across the Dakotas who contributed to this significant donation,” said Kent Osborne, Past President of the Dakota State Aerie. “Their generosity will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals supported by Abbott House.”
